Vehicle and season
A competition season centered on autonomous launch operations and dependable vehicle integration.

Mission system: Autonomous Ground Support Equipment
Lobo Fuego was a 78-inch Blue Tube vehicle with a 5.5-inch diameter airframe and a K-class motor. The rocket supported a mission built around autonomous preparation for launch.
Mission focus: The Autonomous Ground Support Equipment retrieved and loaded a sample, raised the vehicle and rail, and inserted the igniter without direct human handling.
The project treated the launch pad as an integrated robotic system. Mechanical, controls, and operations teams coordinated the payload-loading sequence, rail erection, and igniter placement.
Locate and secure the pre-positioned sample for loading.
Load the sample and raise the launch rail to flight position.
Insert the motor igniter as the final autonomous step.
